	Description The Hooksett Public Works Department consists of the Divisions of Building Maintenance, Highway, Parks & Recreation and Cemetery. Building Maintenance Division Responsible for all the interior and exterior maintenance of all Town buildings and properties. The Parks & Recreation Division takes care of the landscaping. Cemetery Maintenance Division Cemetery Maintenance is a joint responsibility between three different entities. The Highway Division digs and backfills the graves, the Parks & Recreation Division does landscaping, and the Cemetery Commission sells the lots. Fee Schedule Code Enforcement Division The Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector administers, interprets, and enforces the provisions of the Town's Building Code and the State of New Hampshire's Building Code(s). Building permits and Certificates of Occupancy are obtained through this office. Highway Division Responsible for road maintenance, drainage, catch basins, ditching, brush cutting, sweeping, plowing, sanding/salting, culvert pipe installation, public safety signage, and issuing of driveway permits. Also issues Roadway Excavation Permits. Fleet maintenance is also handled by this division. To report street lights that are out, please contact DPW at 668-8019 or e-mail JPinard@hooksett.org. Please provide the pole number or give the address where the street light is located.
