"2004 Hooksett Master Plan"  

Economic Development Plan updated in 2013” and adopted by the Planning Board on 03/04/13.  

Master Plan Energy Chapter” prepared by the Town of Hooksett Energy Advisory Committee and Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission adopted March 19, 2012.   

Hooksett Community Profile” prepared by University of New Hampshire Cooperative extension dated November 2014. In summary, this community profile involved the Hooksett Steering Committee for the Community profile, which was formed in May 2014, with the charge of planning the Community Profile event.  Initial committee volunteers met with UNH Cooperative extension staff to learn about the Community profile and discuss ways to attract volunteers representing a variety of town interests such as youth, seniors, business community, natural resources committee, town officials, etc.  The Community Profile event date was set for November 7 and 8, 2014 and the 12-member Steering Committee met regularly in May and June, then August through the event in early November to plan, prepare and market the event with UNH Cooperative Extension providing staff support.  

The National Citizen Survey (NCS) completed in 2013.  The NCS is a collaborative effort between National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) and the international City/County Management Association (ICMA). The NSC was developed by NRC to provide a statistically valid survey of resident opinions about community and services provided by local government.   

New Hampshire Housing Area Profile” completed in 2017 completed by the New Hampshire Finance Authority provides information on Housing and Demographic data for Hooksett and Merrimack County (Note all of New Hampshire data is also available from the NHHA).  

Town of Hooksett Open Space Plan” prepared for the Hooksett Planning Board and Town Council dated July 2011 with funding and technical assistance provided through the CTAP (The I-93 Community Technical Assistance program) and the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission.  

Demographic Analysis/Enrollment Projections Report for the Hooksett School District” dated December 30, 2015 prepared by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association.  

Hooksett Village Planning for a Neighborhood Heritage District” report dated June 5, 2014 prepared by Hawk Planning Resources with support from the NH Housing Finance Authority and their Community Planning Grant program.  

Hazard Mitigation Plan Update dated 2015” prepared by the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission financed in part by a grant from the State of NH Department of Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.  

State of NH Regional Planning Commissions County Population Projections, 2016 by Age and Sex”, prepared by RLS Demographics, Inc. with Revisions by NH Office of Energy & Planning  

Housing Needs in NH, Part 1 – Big Houses, Small Households: Perceptions, Preferences and Assessment”, March 2014 prepared by NH Center for Public Policy Studies.
