Town Clerk

The Town Clerk's office has moved to Room 101, in the same office as Assessing. Please make note of the new hours listed on the left side of the page. 

Marriage licenses must be completed in person. Before visiting the office, please review the information provided in the Marriage License tab on this page. We request you have a date and an officiant scheduled before applying for your license. Also note that marriage licenses are valid for ceremonies occurring within NH for 90 days from date of application.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Marriage Licenses will only be taken 45 minutes prior to closing time of the Town Clerk (it takes approximately 45 minutes to process each license)
NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
If you have a dog license to renew, please initiate your request simply by clicking the purple dog icon below, or mail payment and a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope to: Town Clerk, 35 Main Street, Hooksett, NH, 03106. Dog tags are now being issued for the 2024 year.

Certified copies of vital records may be requested online by following their respective links below.

Voter Registration: Qualified residents must register in person, per NH law.

Dog License

*To register your dog online, the dog must have been registered in the town of Hooksett last year, and you must provide the License Tag number that was issued last year as it appears on last year's license.   

All dogs must be registered by April 30th of the current year.
